Central Foundation hosted one of the qualifying rounds of the National Chamber Music Competition of the Pro Corda Festival 2023 on Thursday 26th January.
CFBS Senior Wind Ensemble
Following on from CFBS being awarded the National Chamber Music Founders’ Trophy last year, the school was selected as one the 14 host schools throughout the country this year, alongside Westminster School, Dulwich College, and Queen Elizabeth’s School Barnet, in the London area.
Adjovi Ensemble
In additional to hosting students from the Latymer School, seven ensembles from CFBS took part.
Lubega String Quartet
All the Central Foundation ensembles received excellent feedback from the adjudicator, with “politeness, supportiveness and enthusiasm for music”, common themes throughout. We look forward to receiving the results in the next few weeks!
