Today we have been celebrating the achievements of all our Year 13 students as they receive their A-level and vocational qualification results and take the next exciting step in their life journeys. The students achieved 24% A*/A, 54% at A*/B and 84% at A*-C.

Whether students are progressing to university, higher apprenticeships, conservatoires, employment or further training, we are enormously proud of everything they have accomplished during their time in the Sixth Form.

These results represent much more than examination outcomes. Behind every grade lies a story of hard work, determination, resilience and personal growth. Over the past two years our students have balanced academic study, enrichment activities, leadership responsibilities, sport, music and community service, while supporting one another through the challenges of sixth form life.

Many students have secured places at excellent universities across the country, including the University of Cambridge, University College London (UCL), Durham, Warwick, Leeds, York, Nottingham, Southampton, Exeter and Queen Mary University of London. Others are pursuing ambitious routes through degree apprenticeships, specialist training programmes and employment opportunities. We are also delighted that two talented musicians have earned places at highly selective Music Conservatoires.
The destinations our students are progressing to reflect the breadth of their talents and ambitions. Members of this year’s cohort will be studying subjects including Medicine, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Law, English Literature and Music, alongside many other disciplines.

As impressive as these destinations are, we are equally proud of the students who have overcome personal challenges, exceeded their own expectations or achieved goals that once seemed beyond reach. Every student receiving their results today has a story worth celebrating.

As they leave Central Foundation Boys’ School, this exceptional group of young people do so with the best wishes of staff, governors, families and fellow students. We look forward to following their future successes and seeing the positive contribution they will make to their communities and wider society.
