For a third year, Gerald Dowler has visited our Year 12 A level Law group to discuss his career pathway and experience as a magistrate, demonstrating how their A level curriculum connects to the practice of law in England. Our students then had the opportunity to practice some sentencing themselves, using their subject knowledge to make fair and balanced sentences for a wide range of offences.
