A group of Year 7 and 8 students enjoyed a memorable day at the Axiom Rising Mathematicians Festival, hosted at Queen Mary University of London on Tuesday 23rd June. The event brought together young mathematical thinkers from across Axiom’s maths circles for a day full of discovery, challenge and collaboration.

Students took part in a mass maths circle, explored the university grounds on a guided campus tour and attended a lecture with current university students, gaining valuable insight into studying mathematics at a higher level.
Throughout the day pupils were able to connect with like‑minded peers, tackle rich mathematical problems and experience first-hand the power of mathematical thinking. A huge thank you to Axiom and Queen Mary University of London for hosting such a fantastic event, and to our pupils for representing the school so brilliantly.
