On Tuesday 30th January, our Year 12 A level Economics students had the opportunity to work with representatives from GCS Insight, an award-winning strategy consultancy who supports management teams and investors with data analysis across the key stages of the growth and investment cycle. The workshops focused on demonstrating some of the key concepts and skills developed through their Economics curriculum and how these can be applied within the strategy consultancy sector.
Students were tasked with assessing a local business and deciding if it would be worthwhile to invest in the business. GCS Insight walked students through the assessment process, identifying the key questions you would need to answer as an advisor in order to provide trustworthy advice to your client.
GCS Insight have been supporting our A level Economics cohorts for many years, and we look forward to our continued engagement with them!
