Wednesday 23rd April was the occasion of the 12th Annual MiSST Concert. 49 CFBS students performed in this event on the main stage at the Barbican, the largest group of students of all schools participating.
All the students involved attend at least three hours of orchestral rehearsals every week on a Saturday as part of the MiSST Music Academy. The performance was a fantastic display of all their hard work.
In addition to those performing as part of the orchestra, our Year 8 student Leith conducted Grieg’s Hall of the Mountain King. (At 2:16 of the below video). Leith was probably the youngest ever conductor on stage at the Barbican.
