Mini Sagas Competition

Mini Sagas is a writing competition aimed at getting young people throughout Britain writing. As the name suggests, pupils are required to write a short story, or ‘saga’, in under 50 words, taking into account the traditional narrative writing structure of a beginning, middle and ending.

Sounds simple enough, but achieving all of this in under 50 words can present quite a challenge. A number of boys at the School have been successful in this writing competition, and their work has been selected for publishing in the annual Young Writers’ anthology. This anthology will be kept at the British Library and further libraries across the UK and the Republic or Ireland, providing a lasting record of their achievement.

Congratulations to all our pupils!
