Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen

This summer City YMCA and Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Restaurant launched a new project called Comedine@Fifteen. Five students from Central Foundation Boys’ School took the course at Jamie Oliver’s famous restaurant.

The students were taught how to prepare a three course meal by graduates from Fifteen’s Apprentice Programme. The following day, the participating students, Derek Nightingale, Wassim Islam, George Benson, Dean Rowe and Malik Yansaneh cooked the meal for their family and friends.

At the end of the programme all of the chefs were invited back to Fifteen to enjoy a delicious meal prepared by the restaurant’s graduate chefs.

During the course Headliners, an organisation which specialise in filming, photography and journalism, provided an opportunity for a further two students, Yusef Labib and Harry Woodall to plan, film and photograph a documentary of the programme.
