Stratford-upon-Avon English Trip

On Monday the 4th of July, Year 7 students along with the English Department visited the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon. The day was spent at three special places of interest.

The first was his birthplace in the town centre, followed by a visit to Anne Hathaway’s beautiful cottage. The boys also visited a traditional Tudor farm, at Shakespeare’s mother’s childhood home, known as the Mary Arden Farm.

The students recorded their visit via video journaling and photography. Not only did they learn a great deal about one of England’s greatest writers, but about the life and times during the Elizabethan era.
